First Listen: Feeding Line by Boy And Bear

Boy And Bear, named last month on this blog as one of the top upcoming Australian acts, have released a new single, Titled Feeding Line, it perfectly exemplifies the nature of their sound, which is a slightly heavier, more rock-focused take at harmony-rich folk music. It strongly cements B&B as a band to continue to watch, especially given that an album should be on its way soon, an idea which my memory seems to suggest they’ve confirmed at some stage on Facebook.
Here’s a soundcloud clip of them performing Feeding Line at SXSW, and the song can be downloaded here. Their With Emperor Antarctica EP is also excellent, and can be purchased here.

B&B are amazing.. I haven’t been this excited about a band since the Holidays. They might be dubbed at our Mumford & Sons, but they’re doing it BETTER.

    • I agree completely! They have so much talent; the only thing is that they might not be skilled enough songwriters to produce a whole album of great songs. Time will tell I guess…
