First Listen: Gotye’s new album, Making Mirrors

Gotye’s new album, Making Mirrors, is streaming for the next week at Triple J. If you’ve heard Somebody That I Used To Know (if not, see post below) then you’ll probably want to preview this record before spitting in the face of the illegal downloading scene. By actually buying it. Y’know, with money!

My first impression is that its structure seems similar to that of his previous LP, Like Drawing Blood, in that it features some excellent songs amongst some quality musical tangents that transcend generic boundaries. Basically, this is unconventional, and made to be heard by the masses.

This link is the one that you want.

    NOT COOL.
How dare you post streams that discriminate against those of us in other countries.
    Heartbroken.
